Ghana’s U-23 national team goalkeeper, Ibrahim Danlad has expressed confidence in their preparation for the game against Morocco underlining the importance of winning.
After a successful start in the tournament with a win in their opening match, Ghana is set to face the host nation, Morocco, in their second group game on Tuesday, June 27.
A victory in this match would guarantee the Black Meteors a place in the following round of the competition. However, if they drop points, their destiny will be decided by their last group game.
During a press conference held on Monday, Danlad discussed the challenge that lies ahead and stressed the need for a strong performance to secure qualification to the next round.
“We know what is at stake tomorrow. If we win, we qualify for the next stage of the competition. We will just learn from our mistakes from the previous game. We will go all out and concentrate for 90 minutes and we know we will win.”
