15 young sports enthusiasts have progressed to the next round of the e.tv Ghana ‘Team Talent Hunt Show’.
Several young and vibrant sports enthusiasts after making it through the call for entry stage, gathered at the premises of e.tvGhana located at Asylum-Down for auditions. Candidates from all walks of life and across the far stretches of Ghana journeyed to Accra to stake their names on the sheet.
However, after the intensive drama, a blend of fun, uncertainties and talent display, like the popular saying “Many are called but only a few are chosen”, 15 candidates met judges’ caveat.
Candidates were rated on the bases of expression, appearance, knowledge of the various sports disciplines and presentation skills.
The selected 15 candidates will now go through the preliminary stage where they will be divided into five (5) groups of three (3) persons. Each group will be subjected to extensive drills and grills with the essence of harnessing their potential.
The various groups will then compete and engage in witty discourse on various sports topics including trending issues among each other to stake a place in the showdown.
Sharing his remarks after the auditions, Programmes Manager of e.tv Ghana, Cosby Bikpe reiterated the concept of the talent hunt show.
“Across the country, we’re noted for giving young potentials the chance to explore and go through insightful experiences to achieving their dreams. So, for me, since the launch of the Team Talent Hunt, the feedback has been refreshing and overwhelming as well. This talent show is to provide an opportunity to the young-vibrant sports fans who are determined to make a career for themselves in the world of sports. Trust me there will be no room for boredom, but lot of humour and sports entertainment,” he said.
He further disclosed that finalists would not only have to battle for cash prizes, but an internship opportunity with e.tv Ghana throughout the FIFA Qatar 2022 Mundial tournament.
