EOCO investigates Korle Bu for alleged corrupt practices
Reliable information reaching e.tv Ghana news indicates that the Economic & Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has launched investigations into allegations of corruption at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
Head of Public Relations at the hospital, Salifu Mustapha however, denies that EOCO has extended an invitation to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the hospital, Professor Nii Otu Nartey.
Sources close to e.tv Ghana, however, indicate that the CEO is due to appear before an EOCO panel tomorrow morning. Some staff cited in the allegations have already made an appearance at the EOCO.
Initial arrangements made by e.tv Ghana news to get the PRO of the hospital to comment on the matter were later declined by the later.
