Trailer truck crushes passenger bus

A gory accident is said to have claimed lives of some passengers including the driver on board a 15 KIA van close to Ayrton Drugs Manufacturing Company on the Abeka-Lapaz road in Accra.
According to eye witnesses, a 40-ft trailer with registration number GT 3938, was about to offload medical supplies and equipments there when it overturned and landed on the 15 seater KIA van with registration number GT 7915 Q, which was loaded with passengers.
Some of the passengers are said to have escaped with the driver's mate but the driver and few other passengers have been trapped.
According to an eyewitness, the driver’s head has been crushed with blood oozing out. He said onlookers are too afraid to go to their aid.
Meanwhile, the fallen trailer has completely blocked the road causing serious traffic jam.
