The Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) has today, Friday, presented its interim report through the National Security Coordinator to President John Evans Atta Mills.

A statement from the Ministry of Information and signed by deputy Minister for Information, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said, “The President is now in receipt of the BNI’s interim report and is studying it for follow-up action.”

The BNI was tasked by President Mills on 14th December, 2011 in the wake of the cocaine turned sodium bicarbonate case to unravel the mystery and report to him in order for government to carry out further action which includes but not limited to ensuring that the law rigorously applies in punishing anybody found culpable.

Meanwhile, President Mills has met with heads of the various security agencies to deliberate on the provisional report.
