Beauty and intelligence is not enough - Gifty Anti
Young ladies have been advised to add value to themselves this year and be focused on attaining their goals. This was said at the annually held programme "Time with Purpose" organized for young ladies in Awudome.
Seasoned broadcaster, Gifty Anti, who was the guest speaker at the event, urged the young ladies to improve and add value to themselves in other to forge ahead in life.
She added that in this fast growing and competitive world, it is not enough to be beautiful, intelligent and articulate. Rather, she said, one must be focused on developing additional skills and talents that would make him or her relevant to the family, society and nation as a whole.
Organiser of the event, Princess Sekyere, also encouraged the young ladies to be strong during challenging moments. She added that challenges and obstacles must be seen as stepping stones in life.
At this year’s event participants mostly young ladies between the ages 18 and 35 years took turns to discuss areas in their lives they wished to develop. The programme was held at Mi Casa Restaurant in Awudome Estate.
