Woyome fallout: O. B. Amoah picked up

Former Deputy Minister of Education and Sports, O.B. Amoah is currently in Police custody to answer questions in relation to the Woyome debt scandal.
The former Minister faces charges of corruption and financial loss to the state.
O.B. Amoah who is the MP for Nsawam-Aburi Constituency in the Eastern Region was picked up from his Paraku Estate residence at Dome to the Police headquarters last night around 9pm.
It is believed that the former minister instructed the construction firm Waterville Holdings, to move to site ahead of a formal contract for the rehabilitation of the Accra, Kumasi and El Wak Stadia.
He is the fifth person to be arrested in connection with the Woyome scandal.
Alfred Woyome and three others, Chief State Attorney, Samuel Nerquaye-Tetteh and his wife Gifty Nerquaye-Tetteh and Mr. Paul Asimenu, a Director at the Legal Department of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning are also facing charges with the same issue.
