Breaking news: Woyome granted bail

Accra, Feb 13, 2012
Business man and financier of the ruling NDC, Alfred Agbesi Woyome has been granted bail by an Accra High Court.
He was granted bail in the sum of GHC54 million with two sureties and he is expected to report to the police twice a week.
The Chief State Attorney, Samuel Nerquaye-Tetteh and a director at the Legal Department of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, who were pinned in the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) report to have been involved in the payment of GHC51 million as judgement debt to Mr Woyome have also been granted bail in the sum of GHC6,000 with two sureties. They are also expected to report twice a week to the police.
The case has been adjourned to February 20.
