President Mills orders for arrest of Woyome
Information reaching e.tv Ghana news points that President John Evans Atta Mills has ordered for the arrest of the man at the centre of the GHC51 million judgment debt payment, Alfred Agbesi Woyome.
He is currently being held at the Police Headquarters in Accra for questioning.
Mr Woyome is also said to have quit as Board Chairman of the National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI).
According to sources, his descision is to pave way for smooth investigations into controversies surrounding how he was awarded one of the biggest judgment debts in a poor nation like Ghana.
