PNC to go to congress on February 3
The People’s National Convention (PNC) has set February 3-5 for its national delegates’ congress at Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region.
The decision is the outcome of an emergency national executive council meeting held by the party in Accra on Wednesday.
The decision was also coming on the heels of a green light given the minority political party by the courts after an injunction was placed on the party’s congress originally scheduled for December last year.
The party said it hopes the new schedule will not be distracted.
The General Secretary, Bernard Mornah, said a committee has been tasked to work out outstanding issues on security, accreditation, transport, grounds, accommodation and sanitation.
