NDC to complete Northern parliamentary vetting today

The ruling National Democratic Congress, NDC says it will complete vetting of all its 75 parliamentary aspirants in the Northern region by the close of day today.
The Regional Secretary of the party, Alhaji Umar Alhassan, in an interview said over 30 of the aspirants have been vetted so far since the exercise began last Friday.
He said the process has been smooth and the party expects to line up the best candidates for the region ahead of the general elections later this year.
Meanwhile, executives in the Upper East region have completed vetting the aspirants and submitted their proposal for onward endorsement by the National Executives.
