Nduom launches 2012 election campaign
The 2008 flag bearer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, has launched his bid to lead the party into the 2012 general elections for the second time after the 2008 general elections.
Launching his campaign in Accra, Dr Nduom noted that, the Ghanaians deserve a better leadership than has been offered them by the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He catalogued a litany of critical national projects he said were initiated under his tutelage as Public Sector Reform Minister under the Kufuor administration, citing the National Identification system, amongst others.
“If a single member of the CPP serving in political party he doesn't believe in can achieve all this, can you imagine what would happen if the entire government is formed by the CPP”? he asked rhetorically.
