Assembly man shot to death near Bawku
An assembly man for Bador near Bawku in the Upper East Region has been shot dead by unknown assailants.
Francis Fuseini, who is also an activist of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), met his untimely death whilst returning from Bawku.
Police sources have confirmed the incident and according to reports, the police has increased their presence in the town to forestall any possible clash between supporters of the NPP and the NDC.
