FC Barcelona live on etvgh for Copa del Rey showdown

In line with its brand promise of providing quality entertainment, e.tv Ghana will be bringing exclusive live coverage of the semi-final first leg match between FC Barcelona and Valencia from Spain’s Copa Del Rey on Wednesday 1^st February at 19: 55h GMT.

Barcelona go into the match aiming to take a lead back to their Camp Nou fortress with the winner of the two-legged tie proceeding to the final. With their league campaign in jeopardy, the Copa del Rey represents Barcelona's most realistic chance of further domestic silverware this season.

General Manager of e.tv Ghana, JOT Agyeman remarked that "we are very much excited to be the only station with the rights to broadcast this match. It can only be watched on e.tv Ghana, not even DSTV is showing it. This is a testimony to our commitment to bringing Ghanaians and sports lovers what they need at the time they need it. We want to be touching the spots of the viewers at the right time."

Last week, e.tv Ghana surprised viewers by bringing a special live transmission of 'el Clasico' when Barcelona and arch rivals Real Madrid played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in the Copa del Rey's previous round.

The Late Nite Celebrity Show hosted by Deborah Vanessa was cancelled last Wednesday to accommodate the football, however this week it will be on straight after the football live from 22:00h.
