Tema Mayor honours Happy FM

E.tv Ghana’s sister station, Happy FM has been honoured for exceptional performance and influence in the development of the Port City of Tema.

The Tema Excellence Awards Foundation honoured Happy FM alongside three other media organizations whose outputs have had major influence on the people of Tema.

Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), Adom FM, Oman FM and Obonu FM were also honoured.

Awards were also given to individuals and organisations that have excelled in their various fields of endeavor and impacted positively on the development of the city of Tema.

Hard working citizens of Tema including highlife music legend, Jewel Ackah, and former Black Stars captain, Joseph Addo, were also awarded for their contribution to the development of Tema.

News anchor, Gifty Anti, of Ghana Television received the topmost award for her sterling call to duty towards the development of Tema and Ghana.

Minister for local government and rural development Samuel Ofosu Ampofo was the special guest of honour.

The Tema Excellence Awards is a brain child of the Mayor of Tema Robert Kempis Ofosuware and aims at encouraging the speedy development of the Port City.
