30 couples unionised at Happy FM Mass Wedding

happyHappy FM, Ghana’s No. one sports station, yesterday, crowned the Valentine’s Day celebrations with another fabulous mass wedding in Accra.

This year’s event witnessed the unionisation of 30 new couples at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The Happy FM Valentine Mass Wedding, the only known mass wedding in the sub region, was birthed as a result of the station’s desire to enhance society through the building of strong relationships.

The 7th edition of the annual event was officiated by Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah of the Royal House Chapel International.

A host of gospel artists including the Tagoe Sisters, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Gifty Osei, Ohemaa Mercy, DSP Kofi Sarpong and Selina Boateng also graced this year’s event and thrilled the crowd to some of their best tracks.

Highlighting the day’s importance, General Manager of Happy FM, Charles Osei Asibey said “Valentine’s day is not only about love, it’s about sharing and caring. This is why we are sharing in the day of these beautiful couples to show them and the Ghanaian community at large that we care.”

This year’s ceremony was sponsored by Cake Techniks, Annointed Lady Fabrics, 2nd Image, Little Grown Up Fashions, Danny’s Décor and Bridal Home, Aliquah Home of Fashions, Accra Neoplan Drivers Union, VM Enterprise, TT Brothers. TV Africa, Daily Guide newspaper and Flex newspaper.
