Sam Dede takes up government appointment
Nollywood sober star actor, Sam Dede of “Isakaba” fame has taken up a government appointment as Director General of River State Tourism Development Agency.
The actor who also doubles as a university lecturer at the Port Harcourt University is not the first to take up such an appointment as Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD), Moses Armstrong, Hanks Anuku and Stephanie Okereke have also been given similar government positions.
According to Nigeria online website, this was made official by the State Commissioner for Information and Communication.
The versatile actor’s duties for his new position has however not been spelt out. Sam Dede, arguably one of nollywood’s top actors has acted in several movies, famous of them being Isakaba and Ijele.
