Music and Food Festival lives up to expectation

The maiden edition of the Ghana Music and Food Festival which took place as planned at the trade fair center in La was held over the weekend.

Dubbed the Traditional/Cultural Night and Happy Hour, the event was opened with several dance troupes from across the various regions of Ghana putting up some wonderful cultural drumming and dancing along the main road leading inside the Trade Fair.

The three-day event which started on Friday, , October 28 to Sunday, October 30, got attendees greeted to some very good traditional music, spanning Kpanlogo, Adowa, Boboobo and Fontomfrom upon entry into the venue.

There certainly was a lot to eat from the various food joints, chop bars to popular restaurant brand names alongside great Ghanaian music to dance to with about 75 musicians performing to their best.

By the time e.tv Ghana entertainment news cameras got to the event place, patrons were in their eating mode already. Some ate fufu, while others opted for kenkey with hot pepper and assorted fish and others went western with some Pizza.

Saturday night was a blast as gospel artistes Mary Ghansah, Ohenemaa Mercy and others displayed some showmanship on stage. The hiplife stage also hosted artistes like Sarkodie, Trigmatic, Rough and Smooth among others.

The maiden edition of the festival was organized by Konsule Entertainment, who have promised Ghanaians a lot more of such entertaining events
