4syte TV launch Music Video Awards in Accra

4syte TV on Saturday officially launched the third edition of the Music Video Awards at the plush African Regents Hotel. The launch was graced by musicians, the press and representatives of various sponsors of the event.

The Music Video Awards, which is to be hosted by e.tv Ghana's very own Christal Jeanne alongside Lazzy of VIP fame (pictured), is slated for November 19th 2011.

The organizers say that the ceremony will celebrate the top music videos of the last year and there are reports that the ceremony will have a segment that would see four judges awarding the winners for the best photography, best director, best special effects and best editing categories respectively.

Launching the Awards, the Chief Marketing Officer of Vodafone, Uche Ofodile, reiterated Vodafone's commitment to promoting a vibrant  entertainment industry in Ghana, while announcing the opening of voting for the awards show.

The launch was graced with performances from some of the artistes who have been nominated for the various categories. Among the nominees who received the highest nominations are new entrant Kevin Beats, Becca, Obuor, D-Black, Dr.Cyrme, R2Bees, Trigmatic, Chase, Guru and RnM.

Voting of nominees for the various categories will officially end on November 18.
