Ladies prove their worth at Red Lipstick Concert

Ever imagined a platform where you are provided with different dance options. How about a stage where musicians exhibit different dance moves and top up with the new dance in town “azonto”.

The Red Lipstick Concert which was held on Saturday came along with so much fun with artistes on the bill displaying their talents through their stagecraft.

As with all females, there was a quest among the ladies on the bill to each be the best among the rest. With a touch of red in their costume, the female musicians displayed their stagecraft for the night.

The most impeccable craft, which would linger on the minds of many, was the “azonto” dance which was like a competition for all the musicians with the MC’s Jeremie and Jessica also joining in at a point.

Beautifully shaped Becca left the crowd wondering if she was going to get married on stage in her wedding gown with her groom, Actor John Dumelo. She and Samini also had their taste of Azonto dance.

The evergreen Akosua Agyepong also proved to be an entertainer as always with her touch of red and dance moves. Eazzy who is known for dressing sensually was surprising wearing a “buggie” trouser and a top to match. She had Richie join her on stage to perform the track ‘’one girl.’’

St. Riya from Nigeria dazzled all with her “azonto” moves. Bino, the dance queen did a great job with her girls. Raquel also dazzled her fans with playing drums, while Bertha played the base guitar, leaving Sherifa and Irene to educate people on dance moves from their region and rap respectively.

Top on the list was Jessica beating Jeremie to the “azonto” dance, when Jeremie requested for the competition.

Most commendable was the ladies on the bill who managed bring along all the men they collaborated with in some of their tracks.
