Oxford Business Group and GIPC team up for "Ghana '12" report

The GIPC and the Oxford Business Group is collaborating to publish a report on Ghana’s economic environment.
The publication will spell out the role of the rapidly expanding services sector and the contribution of oil production to the economic development of the country.
The report, “Ghana 2012”, will be the second consecutive publication about the country’s economic performance and will seek to offer a detailed and accurate analysis of macroeconomic and sectoral developments.
This includes banking, capital markets, insurance energy, transport, and the telecoms.
It is expected that the report will play a key role in the dissemination of information on Ghana’s economic potentials to foreign investors and decision makers around the world.
Chief Executive of GIPC, Mr George Aboagye, at a press conference in Accra said the country’s strong economic performance is a testimony of the solid economic fundamentals.
The research and consultancy firm, Oxford Business Group said the report comes at a crucial time in the economic development of the country.
Given the country’s continuing dynamism, the report, “Ghana 2012”, will perform a key role in helping investors keep track of the country’s development patterns.
